Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ThaiHabit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
ThaiHabit teaches Thai vocabulary, script, tones, pronunciation and speaking. The App also records learning activity and review progress and may offer an optional public practice-consistency leaderboard.
App Data
The App stores learning progress and preferences on your device. If you sign in with email, Google, or Apple, eligible learning progress and preferences may also sync to a Supabase account snapshot. Without sign-in, core progress remains local-first. Speech, generated audio, purchases, diagnostics, support reports and optional leaderboard participation may be handled by third-party services described in the Privacy Policy. You can reset progress, delete local app data, separately delete leaderboard data, or permanently delete a linked account in the App.
Educational Content
ThaiHabit is a learning tool, not a language certification. Its content may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Check important Thai with a qualified teacher or trusted source.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended educational purposes. If you join the public leaderboard, you must also accept and follow the current Community Rules. You may not:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use the App to distribute harmful or malicious content
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code and educational content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.
Privacy
Many lessons and progress features work offline. Online features may process account identifiers, synced profile data, speech recordings, generated audio requests, purchase status, diagnostics, support messages and optional leaderboard profile, award, block, report and moderation records. The Privacy Policy explains what is public, what remains private and how this data is handled.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Subscription Services
The App offers Premium subscriptions through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat helps verify purchase status and provide Premium access. By purchasing Premium access, you agree to:
- Pay the subscription fee at the time of purchase
- Automatic subscription renewal unless cancelled before the end of the current period
- Manage subscriptions through your Apple Account or Google Play account settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google
Subscription and purchase terms are also governed by the applicable App Store or Google Play terms and conditions.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. We may separately warn, hide, suspend, restore, or remove a public leaderboard profile after human review under the Community Rules. Leaving, renaming, syncing, reinstalling, or deleting leaderboard data does not clear a current safety restriction. Upon termination, your right to use the affected service will cease immediately.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service Provider operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision will be struck and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
